The Allay Standard
Most companies leave this for page nine of the management agreement, where you find it after you have signed. We would rather you read it first, because it is the part we do not bend on, and because it is a fair test of whether we are the right company for you.
-
Safety comes first, and you hear it from us the same day. If something makes the home unsafe or unlivable, we get it moving and you know what it costs that day, not in next month's statement.
-
Repairs do not wait on a bank transfer. We keep a working reserve on each property, so a resident is not sitting in a cold house while money moves.
-
You will not be surprised by the roof. Anything worth deferring gets written down with a date, so it stays a plan you made instead of an emergency you inherited.
-
Every applicant meets the same written standard, every time. It is what keeps you compliant as much as it keeps the home occupied, and you can read it before you sign anything.
-
An honest number, even when it is not the one you wanted. If what you need and what the market pays are different, we tell you which one is real before the home goes live.
Why we put this in front of you
We take on a limited number of new homes each month, because every one gets a named manager instead of a queue. We are selective about the homes we take, because we are accountable for every one of them. If everything above sounds like how you would want your home handled, we are probably a good fit.
And if something here does not sit right
Tell us. Some of these have reasonable exceptions and some do not, and it is a much better conversation now than after a resident is living there. We would rather talk it through than surprise you later.
Sound like your kind of company?
Tell us about your property in about two minutes, or just call and talk it through with a person.
