Your privacy choices
This is everything this website can be told to stop doing. There are two switches, they take effect immediately, and we do not ask you again.
Your browser is not sending a privacy signal
Some browsers and extensions send a Global Privacy Control signal, which is a standing request not to have your data sold or shared for advertising. We honor it automatically wherever it applies. Yours is not sending one right now, so the switches below are yours to set.
What you can turn off
Changes save the moment you make them.
How many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful and which are not. It tells us that a page was read, not who read it, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles or hand anything to advertisers. Turning this off stops Google Analytics loading at all. Nothing on the site stops working.
Letting ad platforms know you visited, so we can reach you again.
We do not run any advertising tags today, so this switch currently controls nothing. It exists because the moment we add one, it has to be off for anyone who asked it to be off, and that has to be true from the very first page load rather than from whenever a script got around to checking. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this stays off and the switch is locked.
Where your choice is kept
In your browser, on your device, and nowhere else. We do not send it to a server and we do not attach it to an account, which also means it does not follow you to another browser or survive clearing your site data. If it disappears, it is because your browser discarded it, not because we overrode you.
